Matthew 13:20-21 NKJV
[21] But he who received the seed on stony places, this is he who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy; [21] yet he has no root in himself, but endures only for a while. For when tribulation or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he stumbles.

The word of God has to take root in your spirit. Many people know the power of God and not His principles. They respond eagerly to the word without becoming doers of the word. They want a quick fix. They have no time to go deeper in the Lord. Their response to God is based on emotions. They get excited about the deep revelations and mysteries of the word, but there is no depth in the Spirit. They are carried away by the moment. When challenges come they are the first to be discouraged and to fall away.

Declarations.
I am steadfast and immovable.
I am rooted in the word.

Prophetic Instructions.
Package yourself to become steadfast and immovable in the word of God.
Don’t just get excited over the word when you receive it, but become a doer of the word who will turn the written word into the living word.
Arm yourself with the word so when challenges come you can slay every giant like David did Goliath.
You must receive the ministration of the power of God and you should also grow in the implementation of His principles.
Make time to pray earnestly in the Spirit to stir up boldness and courage to slay any giant.
