Nehemiah 2:20 NKJV
[20] So I answered them, and said to them, “The God of heaven Himself will prosper us; therefore we His servants will arise and build, but you have no heritage or right or memorial in Jerusalem.”
Have you ever gone back to a school you attended or your hometown and you saw a place that was once a beacon of hope has been neglected or destroyed? How did it make you feel? When Nehemiah came to his home town he saw the condition of the city and he was moved with compassion. He saw that the city wall was broken down and thieves was coming in and going as they pleased. He gathered likeminded people together to rebuild the walls. When we observe the challenges in the world around us, we have to rise to the occasion. What challenges do you observe around you?
Declarations.
I will arise and make a difference.
I stand for the truth.
Prophetic instructions.
Instead of complaining about the condition of the world around you, rise up and change the nature of those around you through salvation.
A man under the influence of the Holy Spirit will do better.
When you see the condition of the church and the onslaughts of the enemy against the church, arise and stand in the gap for the church.
Rise up and build, and do not destroy.
Stand and be counted for your family and your community.
