1 Peter 1:13-15 NKJV
[13] Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;
The Apostle Peter is encouraging us to fully rest on the grace of God. Our confidence in serving God should not be based on our acts of righteousness, but it should rest on the grace of God. Of course, resting on the grace of God does not mean we abandon all forms of responsibility and righteous living. It simply means you do not put your faith in your best efforts, but your confidence is in the grace of God.
Declarations.
I rest fully on the grace of God.
I come boldly to the throne of grace.
Prophetic Instructions.
Give God your best, but do not let your confidence rest in what you can do.
Let your confidence rest on the grace of God that fills you up and present you faultless before the throne.
When you stand in prayer before the throne of God, rest fully on the grace of God and not in your righteous deeds.
Receive what you need from God by grace through faith.
